FESPB AWARDS TO YOUNG EUROPEAN SCIENTISTS
The FESPB Awards are the Federation’s most prestigious awards. Two FESPB Awards are awarded by FESPB during the next Plant Biology Europe Congresses to two young scientists selected by the FESPB Awards Committee from nominations put forward by each of the constituent Societies of the FESPB.
Winners are sponsored to attend the PBE 2023 Congress. Furthermore, they also receive a prize and a certificate. Prizes are donated by two prestigious journals, Journal of Plant Physiology and the Journal of Experimental Botany. The winners are asked to give a talk at the Congress and to write an article for the sponsoring Journal.
The candidates for 2023 FESPB award edition, must have completed his/her PhD no more than six years before the start of the Congress (parental leaves are not considered in calculating this period).
The candidates have to use the application and nomination forms. They must be sent to Prof. Isabel Diaz by email (i.diaz@upm.es). Please, indicate in the mail object “FESPB Award candidacy”.
The deadline for submitting candidacy is June 5th.
The candidates for 2023 FESPB award edition, must have completed his/her PhD no more than six years before the start of the Congress (parental leaves are not considered in calculating this period) and must have been selected for a talk during PBE2023.
BEST STUDENT POSTER AWARDS
At the FESPB Plant Biology Europe Congress PBE2023 awards will be given by FESPB for the best student posters (https:/)/www.fespb.org/awards/best-student-poster/).

SELECTION PROCEDURE:
In order to participate to the selection, applicants will be requested to notify at registration.
The selection will be made by independent evaluators during the FESPB Congress
The final selection will be made by the FESPB Grants and Awards Committee
